AND WHAT THE MAJOR THOROUGHFARE PLAN IS USED FOR IS TO ENSURE THAT AS THE COUNTY DEVELOPS, AS IT DEVELOPS, NOT IMMEDIATELY, BUT AS IT DEVELOPS, THAT THOSE CORRIDORS ARE KEPT CLEAR, SO THAT WHEN IT IS DEVELOPED BY A DEVELOPER, THAT WE HAVE AN OPEN NORTH SOUTH ROUTE SPACE ROUGHLY AT ABOUT ONE MILES EAST AND WEST AND NORTH AND SOUTH TO PREVENT THE SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE ROADS THAT RUN THROUGH THE COUNTY AND SUDDENLY DEAD END THAT ARE MAJOR TRAFFIC PATTERNS. AND IT'S ALSO. USED TO TO ENHANCE FLOW, TRAFFIC FLOW WHEN IT HAPPENS. IT WAS BEAMER ROAD, AND THAT WAS ONLY DONE OUT OF SAFETY BECAUSE THE RIVER WAS EATING AWAY AT THE ROAD. AND SO WE HAD TO REROUTE THE ROAD IN ORDER FOR CITIZENS TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO USE IT. AND THAT ONE LANDOWNER DID NOT WANT TO, TO SELL. SO IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF PUBLIC SAFETY THAT WE DID IT THEN. SO WE'RE NOT IN A SITUATION HERE WHERE WE'RE GOING TO GO OUT AND CONDEMN ANY PROPERTY. BUT WHAT WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO DO IS WHEN, AS THE LAND SALES TO DEVELOPERS, OVER TIME, WE WILL BE ABLE TO PRESERVE THOSE CORRIDORS TO HAVE THE BEST TRAFFIC FLOW NORTH AND SOUTH AND EAST AND WEST FOR THINGS LIKE EVACUATION, EMERGENCIES AND SO FORTH. CONCERNS ABOUT TRAFFIC NOISE AND LOSS OF AGRICULTURAL LAND USE. THERE'S ALSO CONCERN FROM THE STATE ABOUT IMPACTS TO THE TO THE VALUE OF THE LAND. RECEIVED ANOTHER COMMENT FROM. JUBIN ALEXANDER. THERE WAS COMMENTS ABOUT IMPAIRING THE VIABILITY FOR INDUSTRIAL USE, BASICALLY IMPACTING WHAT THE OWNER WAS GOING TO USE TO DEVELOP THAT PROPERTY.
