Approval of Agenda.
Items identified within the consent agenda are of a routine nature, and will be passed with one vote without being discussed separately. If a member of the court or public requests that a particular item be discussed, that agenda item will be pulled from the Consent Agenda and discussed as part of the regular agenda at the appropriate time. One vote will approve the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. 2. Approval of the minutes. 3. Request to approve payment on the following: (a) $1,015.00 for invoice to Schmidt Funeral Home and $365.00 for invoice to Schmidt Funeral Home for a total of $1,380.00 from line item 125-423-540705 [Transport to Morgue]. 4. Request by County Auditor for approval and/or ratification of Accounts Payable. 5. Request by County Engineer to approve a Utility Permit for San Bernard Electric Cooperative, Inc. to place a power pole within the right-of-way of Killarney Street. 6. Request by County Engineer to approve a Utility Permit for San Bernard Electric Cooperative, Inc. to place a power pole within the right-of-way of West Road.
7. Open Competitive Bids for: McAllister Road Bridge Replacement Over Brookshire Creek.
8. Presentation by Dr. Camille Gibson on the Community Dynamics and Social Media Utilization for Emergencies in a Rural Texas County survey being conducted by Prairie View A & |yf University.
9. Public Hearing - Proposed Tax Rate, first hearing. Commissioners Court will vote on the proposed tax rate on September 18, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at its meeting place in the Waller County Courthouse located at 836 Austin Street, Hempstead, Texas.
10. Discuss and take action on Senate Bill 944 regarding public information archiving. 11. Discuss and take action to approve contract with Verizon Wireless for wireless telephones. 12. Discuss and take action to approve contract with SMARSH for archiving services.
13. Discuss and take action on Burn Ban.
14. Discuss and take action to authorize the County Treasurer to continue to pay the salary and benefits for the Sexual Assault Investigator in the Sheriff's Office at the current levels from September 1, 2019 until such time as the Violence Against Women Formula Grant is awarded by the Governor's Office, funds to be transferred from department 516 for the payment of said salary and benefits if necessary.

Discuss and take action to approve to amend the 2019 Budget to accommodate the Road & Bridge Donation for Hollyhill Drive in the amount of $12,300.00. 17. Spread upon the minutes the Certification of Funds for the Animal Control Department. 18. Discuss and take action to approve to amend the 2019 Budget to accommodate the Sheriff Animal Control Donation in the amount of $50.00. 19. Spread upon the minutes the Certification of Funds for the TJJD Grant for Juvenile Probation. 20.
