Approval of Agenda
Items identified within the consent agenda are of a routine nature, and will be passed with one vote without being discussed separately. If a member of the court or public requests that a particular item be discussed, that agenda item will be pulled from the Consent Agenda and discussed as part of the regular agenda at the appropriate time. One vote will approve the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. 2. Approval of the minutes. 3. Request by County Treasurer for approval of Payroll. 4. Request by County Tax Assessor Collector to approve refunds in excess of $500.00 in accordance with section 31.11 Texas Tax Code. 5. Request by County Librarian for approval of Fixed Asset Transfers. 6. Request by County Auditor for approval and/or ratification of Accounts Payable.
7. Discuss and take action to adopt the 2019-2021 Tax Abatement and Incentives Policy Guidelines & Criteria and Application for Waller County, Texas pursuant to Chapter 312 of the Tax Code. 8. Discuss and take action to approve Tax Abatement Agreement with Alegacy Development, LLC.
9. Presentation and update by Brian Derrick, Recycle Center Manager on Recycle Center Operations.
10. Spread upon the minutes that on July 9, 2019, the Honorable Albert M. McCaig, Jr., Judge of the 506th Judicial District Court, and Presiding Administrative District Judge of Waller County, appointed Mr. Alan R. Younts to the office of Waller County Auditor, for a two-year term of office. A copy of the Oath of Office and Statement of Appointed Official are included in these minutes.
11. Discuss and take action to approve Resolution for the CDBG-DR Grant Program Application filed with the Texas General Land Office for funding under the Local Buyout and Acquisition Program.
15. Discuss and take action to approve update to Waller County Personnel Policy.
16. Discuss and take action to approve the appointment of Representatives to the HGAC Unified Area Coordination Committee. 17. Discuss and take action to approve Interlocal Agreement with the City of Hempstead for paving streets around the Waller County Courthouse.
