Approval of Agenda
Items identified within the consent agenda are of a routine nature, and will be passed with one vote without being discussed separately. If a member of the court or public requests that a particular item be discussed, that agenda item will be pulled from the Consent Agenda and discussed as part of the regular agenda at the appropriate time. One vote will approve the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. 2. Approval of the minutes. 3. Request by County Treasurer for approval of payroll. 4. Request to approve payment on the following: (a) $328,324.97 for Invoice #10 to Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects from line item 601-601-545405 [Professional Services]. 5. Approve payment of $107,598.00 to Goya Foods of Texas from line item 110- 530-587507 [Road Materials/McAllister Rd.] for reimbursement of escrow funds. 6. Request by County Auditor for approval and/or ratification of Account Payable.
Presentation of Distinguished Service Award to the Waller County Historical Commission for 2017 accomplishments.
Introduction of Clara Walker, Cooperative Extension Program (CEP) Family and Community Health Agent with the Waller County Extension office.
Presentation by Katina Harris on the status of the Child Welfare Board.
Discuss and take action to authorize County Treasurer and Auditor to issue a check for refund to TJJD in the amount of $4,570.48 from line item 308-210- 112320 [Due to State/TJJD].
Discuss and take action to declare twenty-three (23) vehicles as salvage property and approve advertising for competitive bid to be published in the Waller County News Citizen with payment from line item 125-401-544100 [Bid Notices and Printing].
Discuss and take action to declare an emergency to close down bridge on Lewisville Road at Lewisville creek Draw, and replace bridge.
Open responses to Request for Qualifications for Construction Management at Risk Services for proposed precinct 4 office Building.

Discuss and take action to rescind Order prohibiting or restricting certain fireworks in unincorporated areas of Waller County approved in Commissioners Court on June 13,2018. 16. Discuss and take action to deliberate business and financial issues in executive session based on determination and recommendation from the District Attorney's Office that deliberation in an open meeting regarding business and financial issues related to purchasing or leasing real property in Precinct 1 would have a detrimental effect on the position of the County in negotiations with third persons.
