Approval of Agenda.
Discuss and take action to approve The Proclamation Declaring May 13th through May 19th, 2018 as National Police Week and May 15th, 2018 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day in Waller County. ** Commissioners' Court will move from the courtroom to the front lawn of the County Courthouse for the Police Memorial Ceremony after the approval of the Proclamation. POLICE MEMORIAL CEREMONY ** Commissioners' Court will move from the front lawn of the County Courthouse to 2nd Floor Courtroom after the conclusion of the Police Memorial Ceremony.
Items identified within the consent agenda are of a routine nature, and will be passed with one vote without being discussed separately. If a member of the court or public requests that a particular item be discussed, that agenda item will be pulled from the Consent Agenda and discussed as part of the regular agenda at the appropriate time. One vote will approve the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. 3. Approval of the minutes. 4. (b)$2,887.00 for Invoice # AH016898, $2,977.00 for Invoice # AH016899, $2,887.00 for Invoice #AH016901 and $3,067.00 for Invoice # AH016902 for a total of $11,818.00 to Harris County Treasurer from line item 125- 423-540702 [Autopsy]. (c) $ 113.44 for Invoice # 112096 to Fritz, Byrne, Head & Gilstrap, PLLC from line item 125-411-540300 [Legal] Pintail Landfill. 5. Request by County Tax Assessor Collector to approve refunds in excess of $500.00 in accordance with section 31.11 Texas Tax Code. 6. Request by County Auditor for approval and/or ratification of Accounts Payable.
7. Discuss and take action to approve advertising for a public hearing on May 30, 2018 on the installation of "No Thru Trucks" signs on Cardiff Road. Advertising to be posted in the Waller County News Citizen with payment from line item 125-401-544100 [Bid Notices and Printing].
8. Discuss and take action to authorize the County Judge to sign one resale deed for the private tax resale of one property currently held in trust by Waller County pursuant to Section 34.05(h)(2) of the Texas Tax Code.
9. Discuss and take action to approve advertising for a public hearing on May 30, 2018 on the installation of signs that prohibit or restrict the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles along Old Houston Highway. Advertising to be posted in the Waller County News Citizen with payment to be funded from line item 125-401-544100 [Bid Notices and Printing].
10. Discuss and take action to approve the following line item transfers within the Elections Department Budget: $2,551.55 from 125-434-532000 [Election Expense] to 125434-531400 [Postage] $1,580.00 from 125-434-540910 [Consulting] to 125-434-568426 [Office Security].
11. Discuss and take action to approve Agreement between Waller County and Fort Bend Family Health Center, Inc. dba Access Health and payment of $25,000.00. Funds to be paid from line item 125-411-542250 [Fort Bend Family Health Center]. 12. Discuss and take action to approve the designation of an agent for voting at the Annual Membership Meeting of the San Bernard Electric Cooperative, Inc. on May 19, 2018. 13.
